Guerrero KO’s Bahreini In Memphis For Win #8

Guerrero KO’s Orso Early To Remain Undefeated

On Saturday, May 24^th, at Fitzgerald’s Casino & Hotel (“The Fitz”) in Tunica, Mississippi, Fernando Guerrero (7-0, 7 KO’s) knocked out Chuck Orso in the first round to remain undefeated.  Guerrero knocked Orso down twice  before scoring the knockout.  The first knockdown came by way of a right hook to the head, Orso barely beat the count, getting up at the count of nine. Guerrero dropped Orso again moments later with a body shot; then towards the end of the round he knocked Orso out with a crisp right hook to the chin. The knockout is Guerrero’s seventh in as many bouts!

Three Main Street Gym Fighters Competed In Baltimore Amateur Show

Alexis Guerrero, Corey Moore, and Shawn Woodford fought in an amateur show at Du Burns Arena on May 16^th in Baltimore.  Alexis Guerrero and Shawn Woodford both won their bouts by decision.  Corey Moore lost a very close decision.  Corey fought an excellent, gritty fight against a much taller and heavier opponent.   Congratulations to all three Main Street fighters!
